Emergence today has launched an Australian-first in-house Incident Response and Cyber Claims team to manage and settle cyber claims.
The incident response process led by dedicated Emergence Cyber Breach Coaches, will manage and coordinate immediate, professional and thorough response to cyber events.
This unparalleled in-house experience will provide market leading incident response services. Additionally, Emergence cyber claims handlers will manage the claims process from the first notification of loss, right through to finalisation of a claim.
Providing clients with 24/7 support means they receive immediate access to a cyber security expert who will triage the claim, provide direction and support and allocate further cyber specialists as necessary, to assist and manage the claim. They will then appoint the necessary cyber experts to further assist. Most importantly, the team supports clients who have experienced a cyber incident by helping them get back into business as quickly as possible.
Led by Blake Baxter, Head of Emergence Incident Response and Cyber Claims, the newly formed team comprises of experienced cyber breach coaches and claims handlers. Blake has more than nine years’ experience working as a specialist in cyber insurance with extensive experience building and managing incident response and claims handling functions both in Australia and the United Kingdom.
